On Thursday, January 16, 2020, from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m., we invite you to a special program featuring the premiere of the newly discovered and remarkably clear Riverside Church recording of King's historic speech against the Vietnam War, "Beyond Vietnam." Join us at the Stanford Memorial Church as we recreate the incomparable presence of King as an orator offering a voice of moral clarity to our own present moment. 

Dr. Clarence B. Jones, former counsel and speechwriter for King, will also speak about his experiences with King during this crucial period and the speech’s enduring relevance.

Drue Kataoka, CEO of Drue Kataoka Art Studios, will open the event with a flute performance.
