Dear Martin:

Thank you very much for your letter of June 1. I shall send the certificate to Boston University today. I trust it is warmer in Atlanta than it is in Chester. We are really in the middle of a big heat wave.

I am glad the newspaper write-up was satisfactory. If you have an extra copy, send one along for our files. I hope you will stop off and see us when you are on your way to Boston. Here’s wishing you the very best of everything. Please remember me to your mother and dad. With all good wishes, I am,

Sincerely,

Charles E. Batten, Dean
