Our newly-released Volume VII has recently been featured in The Daily Beast as "one of the best books on the volatile 60s." In addition, the University of California Press featured the Papers of Martin Luther King, Jr. and King Institute in its blog post "Celebrating Martin Luther King Day." Volume VII was also named one of The Root's Best 15 Nonfiction Books by Black Authors in 2014.
TIME Magazine featured Institute Director Clayborne Carson and Director of Education Andrea McEvoy Spero in an article called "How to Talk to Your Kids About Martin Luther King Any Day of the Year." In a December 2014 article, "The Albany Herald" featured Associate Director Tenisha Armstrong for her work to acquire the papers of former Albany mayor Asa D. Kelley for Volume VII.
