On September 10th, 2015, Dr. Carson and his Sophomore College students spent the day at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee learning about the trials and tribulations of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement as a whole.

On Sunday, September 9th, the Sophomore College class visited the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site in Atlanta, Georgia as apart of their week long tour of major southern cities related to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life.
