Nia Kimbro

Conference Speaker for the Gandhi-King Global Initiative (GKGI) Conference: The Uplift of All: Gandhi, King, and the Global Struggle for Freedom and Justice; October 11-13, 2019

A sophomore nursing major at Albany State University, Nia Kimbro enjoys participating in educational projects outside the classroom.  Her current research concerns, “Dry Eye Syndrome in the African American College-Aged Population,” and she will present her findings at the Albany State University Undergraduate Symposium at the end of the 2019 fall semester.  During her spare time, she volunteers at the Albany Boys & Girls Club, which has prompted her interest in health disparities in underserved communities.
