Refusal to enforce segregation may jeopardize Montgomery City Lines

B. W. Franklin, vice president of National City Lines, announces that the company will stand behind any of its drivers who are arrested for refusing to enforce segregation. Mayor Gayle and Commissioner Sellers imply that they might revoke the franchise or seek a court injunction against Montgomery City Lines if it violates local segregation statutes.
