Boycott leaders petition federal court to block city interference with car pool

Boycott leaders submit a petition in U.S. District Court for an injunction and a restraining order to block the city commissioners’ move for an injunction against the car pool. Later that night Montgomery city authorities deliver a petition asking Judge Carter of the Montgomery Circuit Court for an injunction to halt the MIA car pool.
