Dear Sir.

I’m a reader of The [Pittsburgh] Courier and get it also. Seeing where you were asking for help in order to Keep up the fight. Sorry I can’t send no money I were hurt year before last and haven’t been able to work since. But I’m sending 2 pairs of Shoes some of my better ones to two of the ladies who can wear them and tell them may God bless all of you and I’m with you even if I’m so far off The prayers of the ones who are pure in heart are heard by the lord.

I’ve been able to send money each time the Naacp ask for it but once. And maybe I’ll be able to send some later on. I do pray So.

May God bless all of you and whatever you do keep up the fight, and let them know God is Mighter than Man.

Please let me know when you get them.

From one of the race
