Statement by King Institute Faculty Director Dr. Lerone Martin on the Passing of Mr. Dexter Scott King

The MLK Research and Education Institute at Stanford University is deeply saddened to learn of Dexter’s passing. Dexter’s leadership of the King Estate enabled us to continue the important and essential work of preserving and publishing the papers of his father, Martin Luther King, Jr. We are forever grateful for his leadership and enduring commitment to preserving and promoting the King legacy.
